Background

The customer is a leading provider to many of the world’s biggest automotive manufacturers. They are specialized in pedal systems (brakes and clutches) and have designed a new type of digital sensor.

Demand
Cycle time below 10 sec, 100% outcome (bad products should be handled as waste and put in a locked container), complete assembly of the sensor including magnetizing of the slider, programming of the circuit board, verification and measuring, laser marking.
No stop time when changing product or during refilling.

Fully digital solution, connected and supervised 24/7, easy to implement new products, minimal footprint, all operations being made in one single compact machine solution, all operations and laser processes are monitored and logged.
Sensor is laser welded to fulfill IP-demands (water proof).
The lid is permanently marked with laser only when the sensor passes all tests and all information is logged at component level.
Easy to expand or relocate to new area.
